One box, up to four varieties, none of the guesswork. The Gourmet Mushroom Medley is for the cook who wants variety on the plate and doesn't want to commit to a single species — a curated selection of whatever's fruiting best on our farm right now.
What's in the box
Each medley contains up to four varieties drawn from our current harvest, which changes with the season. You might find:
Chestnut — deep orange caps with white speckles, rich nutty flavour with a peppery finish. Outstanding in risotto and pasta.
Golden Enoki — long golden stems and petite caps, delicate and slightly fruity. Beautiful in broths, salads, and ramen.
Pioppino — firm, meaty clusters with a deep earthy flavour. The Italian kitchen staple. Made for slow braises and pasta sauces.
Shimofuri — dark caps on thick stems, mild and savoury with a dense texture that handles heat exceptionally well.
Shiitake — intensely umami with smoky depth. One of the most versatile culinary mushrooms in the world, extraordinary when fresh.
Oysters (various) — silky, delicate, fast-cooking. Pearl, Blue Shimeji, and other seasonal varieties.
Lion's Mane — when available. Seafood-like, meaty, remarkable when seared in butter.
The current varieties available will be listed in the product notes — we only pack what's at peak freshness on the farm that day.
Storage and cooking
Keep your medley in the compostable container provided, or transfer to a paper bag in the main fridge compartment (not the crisper). Most varieties are best used within 3–5 days. Avoid washing under running water — wipe with a damp cloth or brush instead. For the best result, get each variety into a hot pan with butter and a little salt, and don't crowd them.

Everything in your medley is grown on our farm in the Tamborine Mountain highlands and harvested to order. No cold chain warehousing, no days sitting in a distribution centre. What you receive was growing on our farm very recently. Delivered fresh to metro QLD, NSW and VIC.

We ship our gourmet mushrooms Monday – Wednesday via AusPost Express to ensure they never spend a weekend in a warehouse.
Safe & Chilled: Each order is tucked into a breathable paper punnet (no slime!) and shipped inside a foil-insulated bag with a reusable ice pack inside a cardboard box to protect the contents.
Delivery Zones: Currently serving Metro areas in QLD, NSW, and VIC.
Note: As these are highly perishable, we recommend tracking your delivery closely so they can go straight into your fridge! Thanks for supporting local!
